Anne Morales

Mrs. Morales has practiced law for more than 25 years, with a specific expertise in tax-exempt financing. She began practicing law in Phoenix, with national law firms, (Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLP and Chapman & Cutler, LLP), before moving back to her hometown, Tucson, Arizona, where she practiced with 2 of Tucson's most prominent law firms. She joined Lotzar Law Firm, P.C. in 2007 to continue her practice in tax-exempt financing. She has represented several of Arizona's most active conduit issuers, and has provided counsel to the Arizona Department of Housing, The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Maricopa, The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Phoenix, Arizona, and The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Tucson, Arizona.

Mrs. Morales has participated many times as a panelist on the Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bond panel at annual workshops for the National Association of Bond Attorneys and has lent her expertise in housing to conferences organized by various city, state and federal agencies. She also developed and implemented the first Single Family Mortgage Credit Certificate Program in Arizona, which then became the model used to develop most of Arizona's highly successful programs.

Mrs. Morales earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education, with distinction, from the University of Arizona in 1981 and her Juris Doctorate, with distinction, from the University of Arizona School of Law in 1984.

She is very involved in the local legal community, including memberships in organizations such as:
